Trailer Technician / HGV Technician (Trailers)

Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Hours: Monday – Friday | Days
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime (Time & ½)
Bonus: £1000 Welcome Bonus

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Trailer Technician / Workshop Technician to join a well-established fleet and asset rental business based in Southampton.

This is a hands-on trailer-focused role, carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs within a professional workshop environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out PMI inspections and routine servicing

• Completing Maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on trailers

• Working on brakes, axles, suspension and EBS / ABS systems

• Preparing trailers for MOT and ensuring roadworthiness

• Working collaboratively within the workshop team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, HGV Technician or Workshop Technician

• Strong mechanical knowledge of trailers and HGV equipment

• Experience in a fleet maintenance or workshop environment

• A safety-focused and reliable approach to work

Pay & Benefits

• Up to £40,000.00 basic salary
