Gemma gained her early work life experience within the freight and manufacturing industries, working a number of roles across operations, sales and customer services.

She joined TLP Recruitment in 2014 and over that time has progressed to Consultant, Senior Consultant, Business Manager, UK Business Development Manager, and most recently Regional Business Manager, managing our operations in Kent and Suffolk.

Gemma is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Recruitment & Employment Confederation and also supports and runs the events for the CILT diversity champions, Women in Logistics. 

Avi began her career with a leading FMCG distributor, later moving to a well-known retailer where she held logistics and inventory management roles.

After forging a successful operational career in logistics, Avi then made the move into recruitment, building herself a solid reputation within the manufacturing/own account sectors and gaining valuable experience that enabled her to take the next steps in her career. 

As our Business Partner, and Regional Manager for the TLP West Midlands operation, she has impeccable credentials and unparalleled knowledge. You will find her thorough, direct, pragmatic, straightforward, knowledgeable, constructive and confidential in her approach and conduct. 

Avi is a regular attendee at local networking and industry events. She is also passionate about encouraging new talent into the world of logistics and will take time out of her hectic schedule to attend local schools to support students who want to know more about the industry.

Outside of work, Avi has an active family and social life. One of her passions is regularly attending a Bhangra dance class. Avi can really bust some moves! 

Chris has been with TLP Recruitment for over 13 years, starting as a Driver’s Mate then moving into an office based role. He became a Consultant within the branch a year later, liaising with clients, organising bookings, advertising/resourcing roles and registering candidates.

In 2024, Chris was promoted to the role of Senior Consultant.

Outside of work, Chris is very much a family man and enjoys spending as much time as he can with his family, when he’s not playing darts that is! 
 

Jamal has been with TLP Recruitment since 2010 when he joined as an apprentice.

Jamal has worked his way to become a Consultant and now runs the drivers/industrial staff plan.

Jamal has an in-depth knowledge of the haulage and transport industry.

Hayley has been with TLP since inception in 2003, when she joined as an apprentice in business and administration.

Hayley then worked her way to become Office Manager, dealing with the day to day running of the office, payroll and administrative duties for our Poole operation.

However, most recently, Hayley made the decision to embark upon a career in consultancy and is now supporting the branch in working closely with the customers and candidates to support in all aspects of temporary and permanent recruitment.

Nick is our newest addition to the TLP Felixstowe Family!  He joined our Felixstowe operation in December 2022 as Trainee Consultant and will be supporting the team in delivering exceptional service to our clients and candidates with their permanent and temporary recruitment requirements. 

Nick brings with him a wealth of experience in hospitality and facilities management, customer service and sports coaching and training roles for mixed disability teams.

He graduated in 2021 with a 2:1 degree is Advanced Sports Coaching, which incorporated modules in Marketing, Management and Leadership and people development.  His strengths in relationship building and customer service are already being demonstrated, as Nick is starting to develop great relationships with our candidates and clients within the local area.

Outside of work and study, Nick's passion for sports continues as he loves playing football and is very into long distance running, regularly taking part in half marathons. 

Sam is our Regional Business Manager for Hampshire and the surrounding regions. 

She has a wealth of recruitment experience gained from her own driving and industrial recruitment business and more recently from running a successful permanent recruitment desk. 

Jack joined TLP in 2023 as a Trainee Consultant and has quickly progressed in his career, now working as our Regional Recruitment Specialist within the Midlands region. He delivers exceptional service to our clients and candidates for both permanent and temporary recruitment requirements. Jack is based out of our head office in Droitwich Spa.

Before joining TLP, Jack worked in finance and accountancy, building experience and honing his skills in stakeholder management.

In addition to his commitment to progressing his career in recruitment, Jack enjoys his downtime, regularly taking holidays abroad and cherishing quality family time.

Meet the talented Dan Oxley! 

Dan is Recruitment Consultant based out of our office in Maidstone. Dan delivers exceptional service to our clients and candidates across temporary recruitment. 

Before joining TLP, Dan completed a Recruitment Consultancy Apprenticeship with a specialist recruiter in the local area.
 

Meet Tanya Rees, the latest member of the TLP Recruitment Team!

Tanya joins us as Senior Recruitment Consultant and brings experience across recruitment, sales and account management. She will be heading up the permanent recruitment for our East Anglia, Kent and Surrey regions. 

Tanya began her career in media and advertising, where she had the exciting opportunity to travel the world while working closely with her clients. Nine years ago, she accidentally fell into the world of recruitment and has never looked back.

With four years of experience specialising in the Shipping and Logistics industry, Tanya prides herself in building lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike and is looking forward to expanding that network even further as part of the TLP team.

Outside of work, Tanya is passionate about photography and enjoys exploring the world of natural wines and gin (though not at the same time!). She is also dedicated to supporting charities close to her heart, having taken part in unique fundraising efforts like parachute jumps and wing walks.
 

Sadie joins us as a Recruitment Consultant, based at our office in Droitwich Spa. She will support our Midlands operation by expanding our temporary recruitment services and managing one of our key national account customers.

Before joining TLP, Sadie spent two years working as a Recruitment Consultant in the driving, transport, and logistics sector.

Sadie is a real ball of energy, with an infectious smile. She is already developing fantastic relationships with our regional clients and candidates.

Meet Luke, the latest member of the TLP Recruitment Team!

Luke joins us as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, bringing a wealth of experience in recruitment, sales and account management. He has successfully recruited for a wide range of roles across the transport and logistics industry and, more recently, for head office and support positions.

Based in our Poole office, Luke will be partnering with clients and candidates across Dorset and the South West.

Outside of work, Luke is passionate about sports. He describes himself as a bit of a gym junkie, and when he’s not playing football, he enjoys supporting his team, Nottingham Forest.
