TLP Recruitment are seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Drivers to work for our client based in the Southampton Docks area. This is an ongoing opportunity offering flexible shifts, guaranteed hours, and the chance to work within a busy and well-established container operation.

Our client operates within the port logistics sector, supporting container movements across the South. They are now looking for reliable and flexible drivers who are confident working in a fast-paced port environment.

£14.00 – £15.50+ per hour (PAYE)
Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shift

Day shifts (06:00 – 18:00) and night shifts (18:00 – 06:00) available

What do we need from you?

Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous commercial driving experience
Ideally container or port experience (not essential)

DP World card advantageous
Maximum 6 points (no INs or DRs, due to insurance)

Positive, can-do attitude
Reliability and flexibility

Duties will include:

Shunting containers around the port using tug units
Supporting a busy container operation safely and efficiently
Following all site and port safety procedures
