Supply Chain Manager Ipswich | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Bonus

Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days remote / 3 days office-based)

Were hiring a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end operations for a growing, international business.

The Role

Youll take control of the entire Supply Chain function, covering:

  • Procurement & Supplier Management (global suppliers + parent company)
  • Inventory & Stock Control
  • S&OP / Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution
  • Production Planning (incl. contract manufacturing)

In short: you’ll make sure the right products are in the right place, at the right time — without blowing the budget.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and execute the Supply Chain strategy
  • Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Drive forecast accuracy, stock optimisation, and service levels
  • Partner with Sales, Purchasing & Logistics to keep everything aligned
  • Improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
  • Proactively manage risk, delays, and supply issues (before they escalate)

Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the Supply Chain team
  • Create a high-performance, collaborative culture
  • Own training, development, and succession planning

What We’re Looking For

Senior experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics
Strong leadership — you’ve managed teams and driven performance
Expertise in S&OP, forecasting, and inventory management
Confident with ERP systems and data analysis
Excellent stakeholder management & negotiation skills
Calm under pressure (because supply chains love surprises…)

Bonus

  • Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience
  • Import & export knowledge
