The role is based in Normanton—because all great data journeys apparently begin there. The Reporting Analyst will be collaborating with colleagues and attending external meetings when required. It’s a hybrid role, meaning three days a week in the office (yes, actual human interaction is still part of the job).
Role Objective
The Reporting Analyst will take charge of delivering accurate Group supplier reporting, keeping a watchful eye on supplier targets, managing biannual pricing updates, and supporting Category Management. Commercial success is key—no pressure. The role involves frequent interaction with suppliers, so they’ll definitely become familiar with a lot of email threads and calendar invites.
Responsibilities (a.k.a. How They’ll Stay Busy)
- Producing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for Group Buying and key suppliers—because numbers never sleep
- Managing sales data through supplier portals, ensuring everything is accurate and contract-compliant (no rogue spreadsheets allowed)
- Handling the biannual pricing window—twice a year, but it will feel like a major event
- Reporting on annual supplier targets to help maximise rebates (because who doesn’t like hitting targets?)
- Managing and developing the use of Power BI across Group Buying—turning data into something people actually understand
- Producing quarterly Category Management reports alongside Product Managers—teamwork makes the data work
- Building strong relationships with key supplier contacts, from casual check-ins to strategic discussions, all while keeping everyone updated on evo’s direction
Person Specification
- Someone who can interpret data without staring at it like it’s written in hieroglyphics
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and present data in a way that doesn’t induce panic
- Excellent time management—because deadlines will not politely wait
- Professional communication skills to confidently engage with senior supplier contacts
- The ability to handle sensitive business data with discretion (no “oops, wrong email recipient” moments)
Other Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience with MS Power BI, Fabric, and Microsoft Office—especially Excel (bonus points if they speak fluent VBA)
- Ability to harness AI for smarter analytics, reporting, and decision-making (basically, working smarter not harder)
- Experience creating accurate, insightful reports for a wide audience
- A knack for mastering bespoke reporting systems—because there’s always one
- High attention to detail (spotting that one incorrect number in a sea of thousands)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet firm deadlines
- Confidence in building and maintaining supplier relationships
- The ability to deliver multiple projects at once—without cloning themselves (though that would help)
