LGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

TLP Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join a well-established quarrying operation based in Wareham, Dorset.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the intention of moving into a permanent position following a successful temporary period. You’ll be operating rigid tippers, transporting materials between the quarry, processing sites and local storage facilities.

Your day-to-day duties...

• Safely operating Class 2 rigid tipper vehicles

• Transporting materials between the quarry, processing sites and local storage facilities

• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly

• Following drivers’ hours, tachograph regulations and site safety procedures

• Keeping your vehicle clean and well presented

• Working closely with the site team to keep operations running safely and efficiently

What do we need from you?

• Valid Category C licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous experience driving rigid tippers, ideally within a quarry or construction environment

• A strong commitment to safe driving and site safety

• A positive, can-do attitude

• A reliable and responsible approach to work

• Good time management and communication skills

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
