The Role – Van Driver / Workshop Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to support our client’s daily operations. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines driving and general workshop support, including:

• Completing local deliveries and collections using a company van.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock room inventory, ensuring all items are correctly stored, recorded, and replenished when required.
• Packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Providing general assistance within the workshop as needed.

Requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Confident and competent in driving a van and other vehicles, including those towing a trailer.
• Hold a full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
• Hours: Approximately 3 hours per day (minimum 15 hours per week)
• Salary: £9,525.00 – £12,500.00 per year (depending on experience)
