Internal sales Coordinator- Ipswich
Salary: £28-35K DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm Occasional Saturday mornings 9am-1pm

Ipswich based manufacturer and distributor of engineering components are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Coordinator to join their friendly team, If you love helping customers and keeping things running smoothly, this role is right up your street. You’ll be the first point of contact for our growing customer base, handling incoming enquiries, turning them into orders, and keeping everything moving behind the scenes. Think of yourself as the friendly link between our customers and the rest of the team, making sure quotes, orders, and updates are spot on and sent out on time.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Chatting with customers every day via phone, email, and web, answering questions and processing orders accurately (and with a smile!).
  • Keeping an eye on scheduled orders and consignment stock, and working with purchasing to make sure we’ve always got what customers need.
  • Teaming up with our Warehouse Manager to make sure deliveries go out on time.
  • Managing backorders and keeping customers updated so they’re never left wondering where things stand.
  • Sorting out customer queries by working with the right teams and making sure everyone gets clear, helpful answers.
  • Handling returns and credits, following the right steps so everything goes through smoothly.
  • Keeping records up to date and making sure all interactions are logged and followed up.

You might occasionally support our Business Development Managers, but your main focus will be looking after existing customers and giving them a great experience every time they get in touch.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in customer service or account management
  • Great organisational skills and a good eye for detail
  • Someone who can juggle tasks and keep calm when things get busy
  • Friendly, approachable, and happy working as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and steady under pressure
  • Confident on the phone and strong with written communication
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office – especially Excel
