Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour

Job Description:

TLP Recruitment is looking for Port Driver/Shunters to join our customer's operation based at the London Gateway Port, this is an excellent opportunity with ongoing, steady work for the right candidates

.A full HGV license is NOT required for this role, however, a higher salary is on offer for full CE license holders.

Due to our client running a 7-day operation, candidates with weekend availability are highly desired.

• Night Hours - 1800 - 0600

Job Role:

· Shunting containers throughout the port and supporting the rail terminals

· Communicating with colleagues and supervisors via a radio system

· Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid UK driving license
• Previous experience operating a tug / terberg vehicle.
• Must be able to communicate via a radio system effectively
• Punctual, reliable & trustworthy
• Excellent communication skills
• Comply with the strict Drug & Alcohol testing requirements

Pay Rates:

Full UK Manual License - £15.00ph

HGV License - £17.50ph
