One of the UK’s largest maritime intermodal logistics operators is looking for a confident, people-focused Customer Services Coordinator to join their fast-moving team. With operations across the UK and Europe, this is your chance to join a major logistics player that keeps freight — and customers — moving smoothly.
The Role (AKA: Customer Champion & Problem-Solving Pro)
Working closely with the Customer Experience Manager, you’ll be the friendly, capable voice customers rely on. You’ll:
- Act as the main point of contact for customer queries across rail, road, and terminal operations
- Provide timely updates on shipments, services, and operational changes
- Resolve issues quickly and calmly (logistics can be lively!)
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Keep systems updated with accurate customer and service information
- Identify recurring issues and help improve processes
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine customer-first mindset
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle priorities
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- Experience in transport/logistics is helpful but not essential
