We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client’s busy warehouse team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an ASAP start, ideal for someone looking for regular hours, a structured shift pattern and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and a valid PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence/certificate. Candidates with strong warehouse experience but without a current PPT licence may still be considered, as training can be provided if required.

  • 6:00am – 6:00pm shifts
  • Some flexibility for candidates who would prefer a later start time
  • Weekly pay while working through TLP

  • Pro-rata paid annual leave for PAYE employees

The role will include:

  • Controlling goods coming in and out of the warehouse
  • Checking goods are of the expected quality and in the correct quantities
  • Supplying production areas with the correct items within required timescales
  • Maintaining accurate records and full traceability
  • Loading and unloading designated vehicles
  • Reporting any product damage or issues with delivery vehicles
  • Loading vehicles accurately in accordance with provided load sheets
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team to keep operations running smoothly

What do we need from you?

  • Valid PPT licence/certificate is highly desirable
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred
  • Experience loading and unloading vehicles would be beneficial
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
