Van Driver & Furniture Assembler

TLP Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Furniture Assembler on behalf of our client, a respected supplier of premium beds and bedroom furniture. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional team, delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service across Dorset.

This is much more than a standard driving role. You'll be the face of the business, delivering and assembling premium beds in customers' homes, ensuring every delivery is completed to the highest standard.

• £14.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 07:30am – 4:30pm
• Full-time, ongoing work
• No weekend working
• Weekly pay

What do we need from you?

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
• Previous van driving and delivery experience
• Confident using hand tools and assembling furniture
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, professional and well-presented
• Good communication and time management skills

Desirable experience

• Previous furniture delivery and assembly experience
• Experience working in customers' homes
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

Your role will include:

• Delivering premium beds and bedroom furniture to customers across Dorset
• Assembling products in customers' homes using tools and clear instructions
• Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery
• Loading, unloading and handling products with care
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining a clean and presentable company vehicle
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
