Job Summary
Our client, a respected supplier of high-end beds, is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver to join their team. This is a hands-on role combining delivery and furniture assembly, ensuring each customer receives an excellent service experience in their home.

Location: New Milton (deliveries across Dorset)

Job type: Full time, ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 am - 4.30pm

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Duties

• Deliver premium beds to customer homes across Dorset.
• Assemble beds on-site using tools and clear instructions.
• Load, transport and unload items safely.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and a professional manner.
• Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
• Maintain a clean and presentable company vehicle.

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence (Category B).
• Previous experience in van driving and/or home delivery.
• Confident using hand tools and assembling furniture.
• Physically fit - able to lift and move beds and components safely.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a pleasant and professional approach.
• Reliable, organised and able to manage time effectively.

Desirable:

• Previous experience delivering and assembling furniture.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
