We're looking for an experienced Traffic Planner/Operator to join a busy logistics company in Ipswich.

You'll be planning FCL deliveries from Felixstowe Port to Amazon depots, coordinating drivers, delivery slots and containers, while helping with shunting between Felixstowe and our Ipswich depot.

What you'll be doing

• Planning daily container movements and keeping drivers on the move.
• Booking and monitoring port collections and delivery slots.
• Using Destin8, Ocean, VBS and easyTrans.
• Dealing with delays, port congestion and the occasional "where's my container?" phone call.
• Keeping customers, drivers and the transport team updated.
• Making sure the plan works — even when the day decides otherwise!

What we're looking for

• Previous container/haulage planning experience preferred.
• Felixstowe Port knowledge is a big plus.
• Experience with Destin8, Ocean, VBS and easyTrans highly desirable.
• Someone organised, calm under pressure and capable of juggling multiple jobs without losing the plot!
