The role is all about supporting the sales function, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and helping turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships. Working closely with colleagues across the business, the Sales Support role plays a key part in delivering great service from first contact through to onboarding.

The ideal candidate enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in being organised, and likes variety in their day. They’re proactive, customer-focused, and happy juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What the role involves

  • Supporting the Commercial and wider Sales teams with day-to-day activity
  • Researching and coordinating new sales opportunities
  • Helping onboard new customers, including financial and compliance setup
  • Keeping the CRM system accurate and up to date
  • Working with internal teams to smoothly introduce new accounts
  • Assisting with marketing-generated leads
  • Attending trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
  • Learning and maintaining knowledge of multimodal logistics services
  • Helping prepare customer-focused proposals and reports

What they’re looking for

  • Experience in sales support, sales administration, or logistics operations
  • A basic understanding of international trade and Incoterms
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • A positive team player with a customer-first attitude
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks

This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team, wants to build a career in commercial logistics, and likes making a real difference to how customers are looked after.
