Join a leading international construction company and play a key role in keeping its purchasing, stock and supply chain operation running smoothly.
We’re looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead a busy purchasing function, manage the team, oversee suppliers and ensure stock and imports are delivered efficiently and on time.
This is a hands-on management role working closely with Sales, Logistics and Product teams, ensuring purchasing strategy, stock levels and supplier performance support the wider business.
The Role
- Lead, manage and develop the Purchasing team
- Oversee purchasing, stock control and import requirements
- Manage supplier relationships, performance and negotiations
- Monitor stock levels, planning and incoming shipments
- Work closely with Logistics to coordinate transport, warehousing and stock movements
- Analyse stock data and produce management reports
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and costs
- Ensure ISO/AEO and company procedures are maintained
- Support purchasing strategy and wider business objectives
- Manage workloads, objectives, training and performance across the team
About You
We’re looking for a confident, experienced and personable manager with a background in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or transport.
