Location: Hereford
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week with paid breaks
Pay: Weekly
Overtime: Paid at time and a half

We are recruiting a permanent Overhead Crane Loader for a busy steelwork operation in Hereford. You will load fabricated steelwork onto trailers and other vehicles, unload finished products from the factory, and help ensure orders are dispatched safely and accurately.

What you’ll do

• Use an overhead crane and forklift to load and unload steelwork.
• Follow loading lists to pick the correct items and prepare loads for delivery.
• Check weight distribution and secure loads safely.
• Inspect steelwork and report any quality issues.
• Complete delivery notes and other loading paperwork.
• Work closely with drivers and colleagues to meet loading schedules.
• Keep the loading area clean, organised and safe.

What you’ll need

• At least one year’s experience handling and loading fabricated steelwork or similar products.
• Valid overhead crane and forklift operator licences.
• Experience working from loading lists.
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safe working.
• The ability to carry out a physically demanding role and work well in a team.

Shunter driving experience or a relevant qualification is desirable.
