35 hours per week, 4 day week!

Week 1 – 06:00 – 15:30 Monday to Wednesday and 06:00 – 14:30 Thursday.

Week 2 – 11:30 – 21:00 Monday to Wednesday and 11:30 – 20:00 Thursday.

£15.24 Per Hour

MIM operative to be working for renowned specialist in Metal Injection Moulding (MIM), who provide high-quality injection moulded components to the medical, aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors.

The Operative role is assisting with the Company’s production process. This will include:

Initially:

• Staging components to trays; Pre-arranging components in trays or containers to ensure the correct parts are readily available.
• Processing parts, using sizing presses and tapping machines; Using the machinery to form and shape various parts, while also using the tapping machine to ensure accurate and efficient tapping of holes.
• Running mould machines; operate and oversee the machinery to produce multiple identical parts
• Deflashing and degating parts; Completing the essential finishing process to remove excess material.

Longer term:

• The preparation of feedstocks; Preparation of raw materials into a suitable state for processing.
• Loading and unloading the processing ovens and furnaces; Ensuring a safe load and unload of materials.
• Machine setting; Operate the machinery to control temperature, injection pressure and cycle time.
