Material Stock Controller

Location: Pershore
Pay: £29,000 to £32,000

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Material Controller to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Hereford.

The Role

As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring materials are available for production, and working closely with Purchasing, Stores, and Production to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock records using Sage.
  • Carry out cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure materials are available to meet production requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight any shortages.
  • Liaise with Purchasing regarding deliveries and material availability.
  • Resolve stock and delivery issues.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.

Essential

  • Previous experience in a Material Controller, Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, or similar role.
  • Experience using stock control systems (Sage preferred).
  • Experience with inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
