Our EcoVadis Gold Commitment for People, Planet and Progress
In logistics, it’s not just what you deliver; it’s how you deliver it. As a group of specialist recruitment agencies working across the manufacturing, shipping, supply chain, and logistics sectors, The Logistics Partnership LLP is proud to hold EcoVadis Gold status, placing us in the top 5% of businesses globally for sustainability.
Why Sustainability Matters in Logistics
From warehouse floors to port operations, logistics sits at the intersection of infrastructure, people, and planet. The decisions we make in this space have a measurable impact. As recruiters shaping teams across the industry, we believe in using that influence wisely.
We’ve always cared about doing the right thing. When we began our first EcoVadis certification in 2022, it gave us the tools to go further: to challenge assumptions, track progress, and embed sustainability more deeply into every part of the business. It’s something we’ve continued to live and breathe.
With our 2025 submission now complete, we’re proud to share a few highlights from the last year.
Environmental Action in a Fast-Moving Industry
As a multi-site organisation, we’ve taken steps to reduce our environmental footprint, including emissions, office waste, travel, hardware recycling, and document disposal. One of our current aims for 2025 is to recycle or sustainably dispose of the next 10 laptops and hardware that reach end of life by the end of the year.
Putting People First
The logistics industry depends on people. That’s why we’ve focused on building a workplace that’s inclusive, safe, and empowering. We’ve built a culture where asking questions, challenging assumptions, and learning from mistakes is welcomed. That shift has had a real impact, both internally and in how we partner with clients and support candidates.
Training has been central to that change. Under Rachel’s leadership, we’ve rolled out a wide-reaching programme focused on equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I), ethical recruitment, and awareness.
Highlights:
- 100% of staff trained in ED&I, inclusive recruitment practices, and neurodiversity
- On average, each employee received 41.8 hours of training across 2024
- 0 cases of human rights or labour violations across our internal and contractor workers
Standards That Extend Beyond Us
In recruitment, ethical decisions aren’t theoretical; they show up in real conversations with clients and candidates. Our team are trained and encouraged to act with integrity, even when it’s uncomfortable.
We’ve developed objection-handling frameworks to help consultants challenge biased or unethical requests empathetically and constructively. Sometimes clients simply need education and time, and we’re here to guide that. But if we can’t align on values and uphold our standards, we protect our people and we walk away.
Highlights:
- 100% of employees completed annual ethics and anti-bribery training
- 0 cases of misconduct, unethical practices, or discrimination
- Developed in-house playbooks on handling discriminatory requests with empathy
Sustainable Procurement
We extend the same standards we hold ourselves to across our supply chain. Every new supplier completes a sustainability and ethics screening before we begin working together. Just as our clients rely on us, we need to trust who we’re connected to. That trust starts with transparency.
Highlights:
- 100% of new suppliers screened for anti-corruption, EDI, and sustainability policies
- Annual policy refreshes to align with EcoVadis expectations
- 83.33% of Sustainable Procurement goals achieved in 2024
Sustainability That Strengthens Partnerships
Our EcoVadis Gold status doesn’t just reflect internal progress; it brings real value to the businesses we support. Recruitment has a direct impact on your culture, your compliance, and your long-term sustainability. That’s why we partner with clients to embed inclusive hiring practices, refine ethical policies, and align with international CSR standards.
Working with The Logistics Partnership means you can:
- Build stronger teams by accessing candidates aligned with your values and purpose
- Strengthen your brand as a responsible employer across your supply chain
- Reduce risk around non-compliant hiring practices, discrimination, or poor ethical governance

And we don’t stop there. We bring practical insights, frameworks, and access to our growing CSR network to help move your business forward.
What’s Next?
Achieving Gold in 2024 raised the bar and set the direction. We now have a structure, rhythm, and roadmap for continuous improvement. That includes new initiatives across environmental reporting, digital compliance, and inclusive hiring.
We’ve got some exciting initiatives planned in the coming year, and we’re excited to keep moving, for our people, our partners, and our planet, and helping our clients do the same.
