Graeme spent over 10 years working in transport and logistics before joining The Logistics Partnership in 2010. Following five years heading up our temporary recruitment brands Graeme took overall responsibility for The Logistics Partnership, which includes MVP & TLP, in 2016. Beyond this, Graeme ensures that we grow profitably by recruiting the right people, helping them to develop to their full potential and ensuring that we maintain our business culture and achieve our strategic goals.

Graeme is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. Graeme is a qualified Psychometric Practitioner, holds a national transport CPC, as well as an MBA with distinction. His final dissertation went on to be used as an international conference paper and was published in the International Journal of Applied Logistics, as well as The international Symposium on Production and Supply Chain Management.

As well as a career in Logistics and Recruitment, Graeme formerly ran, promoted and dj’d at his own club night in London where they held a residency which saw them DJ all over the country and abroad. He also plays guitar and is a total music nerd.

Andy’s driving/logistics recruitment career started back in 1998 after spending many successful years in direct sales.

He spent the first few years working for a local & national agency before deciding to set up on his own and in 2003 set up the More Driving brand. His long-term focus was for his business to become one of if not the largest supplier of temporary/permanent drivers along the South Coast. To date Andy has helped over 700 companies both locally & nationally on a daily & weekly basis with all their driving recruitment requirements and has helped many drivers secure permanent positions within thriving companies. Beyond the local success achieved by More Driving; it was this strategy that with Andy’s support went on to be adopted by TLP and provide the ongoing template for growth.       

Andy is part owner and senior partner of The Logistics Partnership group where he now has responsibility supporting nationally on a diverse range of projects and initiatives.

Andy started his career in sales in his late teens, where he built a business selling water to the rave scene in the late 80’s and early 90’s. In his spare time Andy is a motor sport and car enthusiast who can tell you anything you wish to know about any model of car from any manufacturer from the late 60’s to the present day

Gemma gained her early work life experience within the freight and manufacturing industries, working a number of roles across operations, sales and customer services.

She joined TLP Recruitment in 2014 and over that time has progressed to Consultant, Senior Consultant, Business Manager and most recently UK Business Development Manager, supporting the company with it's strategic growth plans.

Gemma is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Recruitment & Employment Confederation and also supports and runs the events for the CILT diversity champions, Women in Logistics.

Avi began her career with a leading FMCG distributor, later moving to a well-known retailer where she held logistics and inventory management roles.

After forging a successful operational career in logistics, Avi then made the move into recruitment, building herself a solid reputation within the manufacturing/own account sectors and gaining valuable experience that enabled her to take the next steps in her career.

Sam Chester is the Regional Branch Manager for the Maidstone TLP Division. Sam keeps an active role within the branch pursuing new business and leading the branch to new heights.

After school Sam worked with Hays within their Logistics Department for 5 years and achieved Consultant of the year for the division 2 years running.

After this Sam worked his way up within Sales and Operations at Ellwoods Food Group for 6 years and ended up as the Southern Regional Depot Manager. Sam has also worked as a Transport Manager for Warburtons and been the UK operations Manager for Qualitex Bathrooms.

Sam has a mixture of skills in sales, people organisation and operations. Thus giving him the ability to work on all aspects of the recruitment process.    

Chris has been with TLP Recruitment for 10 years, starting as a drivers mate then moving into an office based role. He became a Consultant within the branch a year later.

His duties involve liasing with clients , organising bookings, advertising roles and registering candidates.

Hilary has worked at TLP Recruitment for 17 years starting as an administrator and moving latterly into a Consultant position.

Her job role involves all administration duties within the branch including payroll duties and the recruitment selection and referencing of  candidates for new job roles. 

Gemma joined our Felixstowe operation to focus on the further development of our permanent recruitment division, across a range of industry sectors.

Gemma has over 15 years of account management and business development experience, which she has gained from a range of industries including logistics, freight and shipping.

Jamal has been with TLP Recruitment since 2010 when he joined as an apprentice.

Jamal has worked his way to become a Consultant and now runs the drivers/industrial staff plan.

Jamal has an in-depth knowledge of the haulage and transport industry.

Josie joined TLP Recruitment in early 2017.

After finishing her studies at the University of Southampton, Josie travelled and lived in America and Australia before coming back to the UK.

As a Consultant Josie is probably the first person you would meet when registering as a candidate in the office.

Alongside Jamal, Josie ran the busy Port of Felixstowe contract ensuring its evolution and performance levels grew to the high standards in which we find it today.

Kaylie has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the local market, gained from her 11+ years working within the recruitment industry, where she has managed multisite and 24-hour operations.

Shaz has 5 years’ experience in both temporary and permanent recruitment across various sectors including engineering, health and social care, construction and now transport and logistics.

She is REC qualified and comes from a sales and customer service background.

Passionate about finding people work, Shaz’s speciality lays in resourcing for various sectors across a broad range of roles within transport and logistics. She enjoys the diverse, customer focused and fast paced nature of her role at TLP.

Lauren started working as an apprentice straight from college in a busy transport office and then moved into recruitment for the next stage of her career. She has worked within driving recruitment for 3 and a half years and joins TLP to build on her experience and progress in recruitment and sales.

Natasha joined TLP in September 2007 as an apprentice in Business and Administration.

The combination of work and study enabled her to learn the ropes of the business quickly and Natasha is now Branch Manager for Poole.

Natasha has taken on an active role in the day to day running of the business, helping to propel the branch forward, whilst maintaining and servicing existing clients.

Hayley has been with TLP since inception in 2003, when she joined as an apprentice in business and administration.

Hayley has worked her way to become Office Manager and deals with the day to day running of the office, payroll and administrative duties for our Poole operation.

Tracy has joined our established operation in Poole to help support the branch in their growth agenda.

Tracy has a wealth of experience and an award winning background from her previous roles in customer service and sales. She is already developing great relationships with the candidates and clients within the local area.

Glenn Portnoy is the Regional Business Manager for the Essex and London regions. Glenn is the commercial lead for the business in this area and is supported by the rest of the team based in Ilford.

Glenn has over 20 years of recruitment experience specifically within transport, logistics and supply chain across temporary, contract and permanent recruitment.

Daniela Patras is the Operations Manager for the Essex and London regions. Daniela looks after operations, delivery and compliance for the region and ensures a quality focus.
