TLP Recruitment is currently seeking a 3.5-tonne van driver for a client with a remote site based in Dartford. This role involves collecting waste (garden waste, DIY waste, or unwanted furniture) from residential and business addresses using the equipment provided.
Job Offer:
- Temp-to-perm role
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- £27,000 per annum
- Working hours: 06:30–15:30 or 07:00–16:00
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect waste from customers as directed by the transport team
- Deliver waste to designated waste stations
- Complete all daily paperwork accurately
- Perform heavy lifting as part of the role (physical fitness required)
- Work independently and follow instructions
- Use a PDA (training provided)
