Transport Clerk, Basingstoke

Induction 3rd Feb following successful interview

From £20,000 - £23,000 per annum discount card / yearly bonus / weekdays only

We are recruiting for a Transport Clerk for our white glove delivery service based in Basingstoke. You will be working within a busy transport office looking after compliance, supporting the Transport team and general administration. 

The shifts are 39 hours per week– part time considered at 30 hours but must be able to work every other weekend.

You would be required to work every other weekend and the 2 days in the week would not necessarily be consecutive.

This is a 13-week temp to perm position.

Working hours are 6am - 3pm

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Proven admin experience 
  • Preferably come from a transport background e.g. drivers’ books, working tie directive knowledge, tacho hour knowledge
  • Great organisational skills and can hit deadlines 
  • A can-do attitude

Main duties:

  • Calling customers and other associated parties to ensure queries are dealt with 
  • Downloading tachos
  • Organising infringement reports 
  • General admin tasks
