Job description

Job Title: Traffic Administrator

TLP Recruitment are looking for an experienced administrator with a hands-on and focused approach for a well established company based in Southampton!

You will be joining a team of professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced Traffic Office environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, and possess a strong attention to detail, ensuring a right-first-time approach to all tasks.

Location: Southampton
Salary: £26,500 - £28,000 DOE
Hours of Work: Between 08:00 - 17:00 (flexible working hours available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
  • POD Documentation Control: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
  • Customer Interaction: Answer telephone calls and liaise directly with customers and colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Invoice Queries: Handle and resolve customer invoice disputes, including complex or long-standing issues.
  • Fuel Card Management: Oversee and manage the administration of fuel cards.
  • Driver Fines & Parking Infringements: Process and manage fines and parking violations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Identify ways to measure and improve customer service levels.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports and analyse data to assess service performance.
  • General Office Administration: Provide administrative support to the office as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to current procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in invoice control and customer service.
  • Strong ability to enhance and optimize customer experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong written skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and going the extra mile.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A strong team player who collaborates well with colleagues.
  • Proficient in PC applications and general administrative tasks.
