 Technical Administrator Role Objective:

Working within the Technical department, the role will provide support to Area Technical Sales Managers, processing technical specifications, inspection reports, guarantees and handling internal/external enquiries.  The ability to be flexible with working hours will be required on occasion.

 Technical Administrator Role Responsibilities:

  • Efficient administrative support across the department as required
  • Effective working as a key member of a busy integral team
  • Liaison with clients and Technical Sales Managers
  • Raising specifications, inspection reports and guarantees
  • Assisting team members and wider department as needed
  • Handling of internal and external phone and email enquiries
  • Tracking and progressing workload accordingly
  • Accurate use of purpose-built database and MS Office

 Experience and Skills you will need:

  • Sound Administrative experience (gained within a technical background will be highly advantageous)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, excellent written and verbal skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines 
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Resourceful with problem solving abilities
  • Able to prioritise workload to meet business requirements
  • Motivated, driven and dedication to deliver and maintain high standards of service
