Job Summary:

Dynamic family run Freight Forwarders with over a 35-year history are seeking an experienced Senior Import LCL Operator to join them in their office in Witham

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, with a strong focus on Deep Sea Imports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the end-to-end LCL Imports, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer relationships and operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arranging air, sea & road import bookings
• Dealing with overseas offices & partners
• Working start to finish on files
• Processing sales & purchases
• Updating new client bookings in shared drives with pricing.
• Looking after key accounts
• Raising Invoices
• Managing direct client accounts
• Ensure customer queries and complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with our policies and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of freight systems and invoicing tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
