Senior HMRC/Business Process Analyst

TLP Recruitment are delighted to be advertising on behalf of our Felixstowe based client, a role for a Senior HMRC/Business Process Analyst.

This role could suit someone from the following backgrounds:

  • HMRC
  • Customs Clearance Broker
  • Shipping Line
  • Large Freight Forwarder

Working full time in their luxurious office you will have be expected to undertake the following activities:

  • Work alongside IT experts guiding and helping developing new processes by researching and recommending HMRC/Business requirements
  • To provide a proactive link between the client and HMRC
  • Read and understand all new legislation with regards to BREXIT/D1 ND/NILP and CDS and then to provide advice and guidance on such.
  • Attend meetings, liaise with all teams in providing clear direction in the addressing of critical issues
  • To pro-actively communicate with other team members by sharing knowledge and experiences to benefit colleagues understanding, and ensuring appropriate colleagues are provided with updates on any specific or widespread issues out of the ordinary.
  • Attend team meetings
  • Take on any new individual tasks or projects within the team

The experience needed:

  • Customs Clearence procedures
  • Knowledge of HMRC structure/in-depth understanding of UK Government processes and procedures
  • Understanding of HMRC/OGA roles
  • Understanding of DESTIN8
  • Analytical & problem solving
  • Good customer service
  • UCC & WCO procedures

The benefits:

  • Salary upto £40,000 (based on exp/skills)
