Payroll Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to work in conjunction with, and support, the organisations Human Resources department by accurately processing the organisations payroll, maintaining payroll records, employment tax and various payroll submissions

The Offer

• Full-time position, 08:30 - 17:00

• Monday - Friday

• Ongoing support from a dedicated team of workers

• Annual Salary of £25,000 p/a

• Job available subject to interview process

Requirements

  • Processing of weekly and monthly payrolls on Sage 50 payroll system.

Liaise with colleagues regarding errors / discrepancies or other payroll issues. Communicate details in writing if necessary and upload copy of communication to Sage for records.

  • Assisting Month/Year End Accounts Procedures, including interacting with External Auditors

  • Supporting with ad hoc activity and projects within the Finance department, including annual leave cover.

  • Collation of weekly and monthly time sheets from various line managers (Supporting / training line managers when required to make sure accurate and timely information is received).

  • Completion and submission of annual P11d’s to HMRC and payment of class 1A NIC

  • Monthly pension contribution submissions, addition and removal of employees from pension scheme in line with Statutory requirements and auto enrolment requirements

The Person:

  • AAT Level 2 and 3 is preferable but not essential.

  • Previous experience working with payroll.

  • Sage 50 experience is needed.

  • A high level of understanding for HMRC payroll requirements, taxes and PAYE.

  • Fluent with Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of working with terms and conditions and employment contracts.
