Grainstore Cleaning Operators, Contract Period: Late April to Early July 2025

Location: Based in Tarrant Gunville, travel throughout the South and East of England

Pay: Competitive hourly rate + £1,000 end-of-season bonus

About Us At TLP Recruitment, we’re hiring on behalf of a long-standing company that specialises in grainstore cleaning and fumigation services. Serving farms, mills, and docks from Devon to Kent and as far north as the M4 corridor, this team plays a vital role in preparing grainstores for the arrival of the next harvest.

About the Role:

As a Grainstore Cleaning Operator, you’ll ensure grainstores are thoroughly cleaned to prevent pest infestations and maintain grain quality. Your work will involve:

• Using industrial cleaning methods: Heavy-duty vacuuming, air blasting, and hand brushing.
• Varied environments: From small on-floor systems to large grainstores (up to 15,000 tons).
• This is a seasonal, physically demanding role requiring stamina, with work in hot, dusty environments.

Training Provided:

• Working at heights

• IPAF/MEWP certification for lift platform safety

Affordable on-site accommodation in fully furnished mobile homes, with amenities like gas, water, and internet included.

Key Requirements

• Physically fit and able to work in dusty conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• No asthma or breathing-related allergies.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays & Overnights (accommodation provided).
• Start time: 07:00 AM at the customer’s site, travel time included in the company vehicle.
