TLP are recruiting Drivers Mates to work with our customer based in Thetford, Suffolk. Our client are a leading retailer technology products and services, boasting 829 stores and operating in 7 countries. We are looking to employ reliable candidates to work full time or part time. This will be on a rota basis and may include weekends.

Induction Date: Wednesday 29th June 2022 at 0900am

The Role and Your Duties:

Providing a professional service delivering white goods to customer premises
Navigating delivery notes and routes
0700 Starts each day
Average working day between 9-11 Hours
Pay £9.50 Per Hour plus holiday pay
Rota’s for each candidate (5 on, 3 off)
Speaking with customers daily over the phone
Assisting the driver with deliveries throughout the region
Loading and unloading
Heavy lifting (Up to 120kg split between 2)
Always ensuring the security of the vehicle/trailer and load
Ensuring goods are delivered to the customer in a safe and efficient manner on time
Ensure all documentation is completed as per procedure
Working as part of a team

Expected of you:

To be polite, friendly and professional while delivering to customers
To be physically capable of lifting large and heavy items
To be reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
Excellent telephone manner
Can be flexible with shifts throughout the week
Ensure the correct clothing and PPE worn at all times
Provide or complete a DBS check as per the client’s requirement (This will be at no cost to the candidate)
