Credit Control/Sales Ledger

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control/Sales Ledger position that will play a key role will be within a fast paced, driven finance team of 10. This is for our client based in Stourport-On-Severn.

• Full-time position, 08:30 - 17:00

• Monday - Friday

• Ongoing support from a dedicated team of workers

• Annual Salary of £22,000 p/a

• Job available subject to interview process

Requirements

  • Processing credit card/BACS and Cheque payments as required

Daily banking and timely allocation of cash (including setting up DD payments and dealing with PDQ transactions)

  • Ensure emails are actioned in a timely manner and customer account information is accurate and regularly updated

  • Maintaining professional relationships with internal Personnel and external customers by providing a high level of customer service, dealing with all queries in a timely manner

  • Maintaining clear communications with Commercial Account Mangers, providing direction and support where required to manage and minimise debt.

  • Create new accounts in line with company policy

  • Assign and amend correctly authorised credit limits

  • Assisting in sales ledger month end procedures

  • Raising of Invoices/Credit notes as required

The Person:

  • Experience working within a credit and sales ledger department is essential, with a proven ability to manage and reduce debt with credit risk awareness

  • High levels of personal organisation

  • Sage 50 experience is advantageous

  • Strong IT and MS Excel skills (including pivot tables, look ups etc.)
